Account Manager

Level: Full-Time Staff

Organization Overview:

Summary of Position:

AV Chicago’s sales team is looking to bring in a self-starter inside sale and customer service representative to help field our inbound sales leads and take them through contract execution. In this position, we are looking for a candidate that excels in a fast pace environment and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities at the same time. This position will help assign the inbound leads as well as handle their own book of business.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

· Outreach to engage/ re-engage customers

· Proposal development for customers

· Field inbound sales lead to execute or pass to other team members

· Follow up and walk customers through the sales process

· Track deals within CRM

· Data integrity management

· Ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organization

· Call/ email potential customers to sell AV Chicago’s services

· Assist Director of Sales in the sales process

· Provide demos to potential and existing customers

· Assist customers with questions along the process

· Bridge the sales and project management accountability

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of sales experience

· Knowledge of events and AV

· All-In mindset to jump in and help out wherever is needed

· High attention to detail and accountability

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Excel working in a fast pace environment

· Basic technical skills in AV or experience in selling technology solutions

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Other Skills:

· Strong communication skills, organizational skills, critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as an integral sales team member
· Knowledge of Hubspot or CRM

Event Engineering Specialist

Level: Full-Time Staff

Summary of Position:

Event Engineering Specialist (EES) will perform equipment oversight, integration, and organization for AVC projects and rentals. The ideal candidate will have a general working technical knowledge of AV production systems, a strong understanding of signal flow, and experience with live event system design and integration.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sales and Project Management Team to plan & diagram AV equipment solutions.
  • Engineer events from the component level and select the correct equipment for the job.
  • Expertise in processing, routing, and signal flow with audio-visual equipment.
  • Assists internal team to engineer equipment solutions for event productions and rentals, from the component level to complete system.
  • Create engineering design packages (to include AV control, video, audio, and networking schematics). Reviews orders to ensure the correct equipment and systems are utilized.
  • Generate and submit pull sheets and manifests and monitor inventory shortages for sub-rentals.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all standard AV Chicago equipment and packages.
  • Generate functional and connection-level drawings for audio, video, control, and communications systems.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Video Engineering, switching, and signal processing.
  • Working experience in av AV Technician or Engineering role.
  • Knowledgeable in current AV industry equipment standards, trends, and developments.
  • Knowledge of how to operate standard AV equipment (PA systems, projection systems, video switchers, LED walls, etc.)
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in event AV or Production support role
  • Expertise in audio signal processing, routing, and signal flow.
  • Experience integrating video conference and virtual meeting broadcasting systems
  • Basic understanding of LED display systems, processing, and connectivity.
